This page explains, plainly, what data this website collects, why, who it's shared with, and how to ask me to delete it. It's written to be understood, not to protect me with fine print.

01Who I am

Wilson Escobar, stand-up comedian and tattoo artist, with a studio in the Miami area, Florida (United States). I'm responsible for the data collected on wilsonescobar.com.

For anything related to your data: contacto@wilsonescobar.com

About your reference photos: if you choose to upload them, they're kept in private storage (Cloudflare R2) under a random link that's impossible to guess and marked so search engines never index it. They aren't published anywhere, only I see them, and they're used only to design and quote your tattoo. You can ask me to delete them whenever you want.

If you join the "Parche VIP"

Name, email and, if you want, phone number. Plus whether you're interested in tattoos, comedy or both. Nothing else.

Automatically, while you browse

03What I DON'T collect

04Who it's shared with

I use third-party services to make the website work. Each one receives only what it needs.

ServiceWhat it receivesWhy
Brevo
(formerly Sendinblue)
Name, email, phoneTo save your contact on my list (tattoos or comedy) when you request a quote or join the Parche VIP. I may email you with news; every email includes a link to unsubscribe
Web3FormsEverything in the formTo deliver your request to me by email
Meta
(Facebook / Instagram)
Email and phone hashed (SHA-256, an irreversible code), browser identifiers, IPTo measure which ads work
Google Analytics 4Anonymous browsing data, IPTo know how many people visit and what they look at
CloudflareIP, technical connection dataTo host the website and protect it from attacks
EventbriteWhat you enter when buying a ticket in its checkout windowTo sell show tickets (Eventbrite's privacy policy applies)
Cloudflare Workers AIWhat you type in the website chatTo answer your questions. Your messages aren't stored on my server
ElfsightTechnical data from your browserTo show the Instagram feed
Google FontsIPTo load the fonts
YouTubeNothing, until you press playTo watch the “Sin Editar” video

The YouTube video doesn't load anything until you decide to watch it. That's on purpose.

05Cookies and storage

This website sets these cookies:

NameWhoWhy
_fbpMetaTo recognize your browser between visits to measure ads
_fbcMetaTo remember the Facebook or Instagram ad you came from, to measure it
_ga, _ga_J43646YNEQGoogle AnalyticsTo tell visitors and sessions apart

If you buy tickets in the Eventbrite window, Eventbrite may set its own cookies under its policy.

I also save a few technical markers in your browser that never travel to any server:

And one more marker, weSrc: where you came from (for example, an ad or Instagram) and the first page you saw. It's kept for 30 days and only leaves your browser if you request a quote, together with it, so I know which channel works.

If you'd rather block all of this, you can delete your cookies or use your browser's private mode. The website works just the same.

06How long I keep your data

07Your rights

Email me at contacto@wilsonescobar.com and I can:

I reply within 30 days. You don't need to explain why.

If you're writing from Europe or the United Kingdom, you also have your rights under the GDPR, including the right to file a complaint with your country's data protection authority.

08Security

The website runs on HTTPS. The data sent to Meta is turned into an irreversible code (SHA-256 hash) before it leaves my server: neither Meta nor anyone else sees your email in plain text that way. The access keys to the services live in the server's environment variables, not in the page's code.

That said: no system is infallible. If a breach affecting your data ever happened, I would tell you.

09Changes

If I change anything important, I update the date at the top. If the change affects how I use your data, I'll let you know by email if you're subscribed.

An honest note.
I wrote this text to be understood and to reflect what my website really does. It isn't a document drafted by a lawyer. If you're a legal professional and see something I should fix, email me: I truly appreciate it.
